The 940 Pro Turkey shotguns are equipped for optics, featuring receiver cuts that seamlessly accept Shield RMSc-pattern micro dot sights, enhancing eye alignment and target acquisition. A cover plate is provided for when an optic is not in use. The durable gas system inside allows for up to 1500 rounds between cleanings, with corrosion-resistant internal parts and finishes, such as a nickel boron-coated gas piston, magazine tube, hammer, and sear. Additional features include an enlarged and beveled loading port, elongated elevator, and anodized follower for fluid operation. On the exterior, a self-draining adjustable stock offers 1.25" of LOP flexibility, while Mossberg's signature texturing on the stock and forend ensure a secure grip. The HiViz CompSight front fiber optic sight assists in maintaining accuracy.
